A long time coming

Well, it's been a long time coming, but finally I have the energy to write (kinda)

I'm doing SO well lately!!

I LOVE my job (most of the time) and it's just so great to finally be out of the house and earning my own money again. It's a shame that I never seem to find the time or energy to spend any of the money, but I guess that's what vacations are for :)

My job is quite challenging. Of course, I know myself. The day it stops being a challenge is the day that I stop wanting to go to work. I learn something new every day. My dutch speaking and writing skills are very much improved, which is exciting because there is nothing worse that feeling like you can't communicate what you want to communicate to other people. Sometimes I mess up (of COURSE!) but my co-workers always seem to find my little spelling mistakes and grammatical errors charming so I guess it doesn't really matter. After 7 weeks working there I'm finally starting to feel like I fit in a little bit. It's nice having conversations with other people and getting to know new people.

So really, that's about it for the update. I know, I know, the only thing I talked about is work (booooorinng) but yeah, it's pretty much what's going on in my life at the moment. When the weekend comes I still tend to sleep through most of it, just trying to catch up. I DO hope that I'll start feeling more like doing things other than work soon. In a few months I will get a new contract and I'm thinking about trying to work 4 days a week instead of 5 just so that my house actually gets cleaned every once in a while (or maybe I should just spend some of my hard earned money on a cleaning service.. hehe)
